Volunteer

Throughout the school year, we have a myriad of volunteer opportunities for advocates and design professionals to support our middle school projects in Nashville. Check out the Volunteer roles and sign up for what interests you. When the volunteer needs arise, we will reach out.

Volunteer Roles

DASHville Facilitators: Workshop facilitators will support students as they design and build a scale model of an affordable and sustainable home.
Time Commitment: One 2-hour session or two 1-hour days at a school.

Paint Day Assistants: Paint Day Assistants help prep and paint the sites with students. Preference is given to employees from companies who financially contribute to the program.
Time Commitment: Two days at the school for 2-4 hours each day. Times will vary for each school.

Career Day Speakers: Career Day Speakers will talk to students about their work in fields related to the project, including Urban Planning, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Construction, Engineering, Graphic Design, and Art.
Time Commitment: One day at the school for one or more hour-long classes.
